David's Ladder

David had been told he would not be allowed to build God a temple. Yet God speaks kindly to him, and this prompts David to pray. Taking one aspect of God's characteristics or behaviour from each of the twelve verses, a progression of thought is presented, leading to the great conclusion that God is all faithful.
