Rush Rush Rush — Living Like Tails… Dragged Around Everywhere

Are we being guided or dragged around?

Guided by our Shepherd or dragged around by our society?

What are we? The head or the tail?

I've been praying over our flock that we'd all slow down and not be the tail and dragged around with the flow of our society. But that we'd find rest, joy and peace being guided by our Shepherd — that we may be the head and not the tail.

I want to be a kingdom thinker. A kingdom thinker doesn't just SURVIVE, from day to day, they THRIVE in the beauty and rich blessings of God's redeeming grace. And we need God's gracious help to be one who has a kingdom mindset. Kingdom thinkers are the head and not the tail... being dragged around from this to that. They thrive in bringing life, love and light to a hurting world defeated and deflated by its own hopelessness and vain ambitions. It's not that they have everything in life figured out... they've simply learned how to lean on and look to Jesus.
