Mary, Did You Know?

1,386 ( 1,284 | 102 )

Transcribed Extract: WHAT MARY REALLY HOLDS IN HER ARMS
Mary, you don’t know what you’ve got yet. But if you do get this, you won’t be surprised when the wind stops when he talks to it; when the waves calm immediately when he commands them. Nor will you be surprised when he speaks to dead men and they come alive. Nor will you be surprised when he creates something out of nothing and feeds multitudes.
Mary, did you know that your baby boy is the Lord of all Creation?
Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your baby boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you’re holding is the great I AM?
“I am the LORD, and I change not,” says Jesus. And that means for you, as we worship this Christmas time, that we are worshiping one who is true and fully God. “Very God of Very God.” We’re worshiping one who can be distinguished from us creatures, because he is the Creator. We’re worshiping one whose very being – as Almighty, as eternal and as unchangeable – strengthens our faith. Why? Because we look at what he has done in the past, according to the Scriptures, and we say to ourselves, “He hasn’t changed! His values are the same now as they were then. His love is the same now as it was then. His kindness is the same now as it was then.” “His love in times past, forbids me to think he’ll leave me at last in trouble to sink.” He will always be there. He will always be there, unchanging in his faithfulness, for his years have no end.
