Christ's Gift, Your Pastor

Main Lesson: Remember what Christ did to gift you with pastors.

Sermon Outline:

1. The story begins in the wilderness of Sinai as Israel sets out for the Promised Land (Numbers 10:33-36, Psalm 68:1).
2. The story culminates in God ascending Mount Zion (Psalm 68:18).
3. All of this applies to Christ (Ephesians 4:11).
4. Paul explains Christ’s ascension (Ephesians 4:9-10).
5. Therefore, Christ is able to extend grace to you through His gifts (vs. 7).
6. The gift to you is pastors (vs. 11).
