Opened Ears and Loosed Tongue

Christ opened the ears and loosed the tongue of a man brought to him. In this we see how the sinner is deaf to God and cannot speak his praise, but Christ gives life by his own work; God comes to us in Christ to open our ears that we may hear his word and loose our tongues that we may praise him.
