The Nature of Women and Their Role

Jesus Christ came to earth to be a savior. He saves not only from the penalty of sin but the power of sin as well. We cannot be saved by our best efforts and our works. But when we are saved, our lives are so changed that we live different lives. We have been saved for good works which God prepared before hand, that we should walk in them. Paul is unfolding the life and lifestyle of the people of God. We are told that the church is the household of God. In chapter 2 he is talking about the role and conduct of Godly women. So we are talking about what God wants for a woman who belongs to him. The realm of the woman is not that of teaching and of being in authority.
