The River & the Tree of Life of the New Jerusalem

This text brings us to the last of those eschatological things contained in the Book of Revelation. Now, within the city of God, there is revealed a river and the tree of life.

Without apology we have maintained a literal hermeneutic throughout the study of this book and because of this we understand a real, glorious future promised to the faithful. But how this is diminished by those which have stooped to apply a very subjectively discerning, spiritual hermeneutic. If the Lord will, perhaps this lesson might be used of the Lord to stir every listener or reader to a right handling of not only this book, but of every book of the BIble.
