First Test of Faith

Abraham failed God's first test during a crisis of famine by not revealing all the truth about Sarai. Abraham was provided riches from Pharoah while Pharoah received plagues dues to his desire to take another wife. Abrahams blessing should not be taken as ultimate blessing, judgement could be around the corner. However Abraham is returned to the land of Canaan reminiscent of Israels deliverance from slavery in Egypt.
