The Secret of National Prosperity

What does the true prosperity of a people look like, and what is its cause? The great cause is piety, God's people seeking God's face. We see in 2 Chronicles 11 first a prophecy that was followed, listening to God; second the piety of God's people and the false religion of Jereboam; and thirdly the prosperity of the nation and its true cause, not politics or military might, but God's people seeking him.
