Faith, Suffering, and the Purposes of God

Christians have received a spiritual kingdom that will last forever. The text is comprised of seven sections unified by this theme.

1. We are in a life and death struggle with sin.
2. God uses even suffering and persecution to discipline and correct us.
3. We must help each other when we grow weak and weary and want to give up.
4. We must protect the church.
5. We have received a spiritual kingdom that will last forever.
6. We must not turn away from Jesus who has established his kingdom.
7. We must use the means of grace God has given us to serve Him.
