Federal/Natural Headship

The theology of modern day Reformed covenant theology is not the theology of Augustine and Calvin. It has been hi-jacked by Cocceius and Turretine. Augustine and Calvin were Naturalist headship, Cocceious and Turretine Federalist. Turretine's writings have become the textbook of Princeton University and its leading advocate is Hodge. The opposition has been led by W.T. Shedd. All mankind was in Adam our natural head. It is from him we get our physical and moral bodies. All the elect were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world in the everlasting covenant. It is from Him we get our Spiritual and Immortal being.
