No Animosity or Anxiety — Lifting Open Hands

We have a biblical and moral mandate Missions — No Matter WHO is in the lead or WHAT the circumstances of our society looks like. We have a calling to make a big deal about our King and not the thing.

I love these prayer tips found ind 1 Timothy 2

PRAY FOR everyone, all types of men and those that lead them, good ones and bad ones.

PRAY THAT you may lead others and be an example of a servant of God that's at rest and settled in your assignment AND evaluation of the culture and in no wise topsy-turvy or irrational about the climate of our society or the leaders now in office...

PRAY IN hope of the priority and purpose of God, expecting God to use you to reconcile a lost world to Himself, as you fulfill your mission of bringing Jesus to a world that will perish without Him.

PRAY WITH open and clean hands, having no animosity or anxiety in your spirit, trusting the Father knows exactly what He's doing, with you and the world you live in. Recognize and know He's fully aware and not threatened by our society or its leaders... and neither should you be.

Grace isn't an ALLOWABLE means to do [whatever], but a REDEEMABLE means...by which God redeems, reveals and refreshes His servants from what the law condemns and the flesh corrupts.

In Acts 17:24-31 Paul illustrates an eternal truth to a group of very smart, but very blind, men. He tells them that men have made a mess of trying to find and know [a god] on their own. God, the God that made us, has an expectation and His expectation has never changed... it's eternal and He will hold all men accountable for it.
