Commended to God and His Grace

*A five minute snippet gleaned from a Sunday School class pointing toward the service to follow. In that service we explore Acts 20 to find what God's word says about the irreplaceable value of His word and the gift of being "Entrusted and Established — In The Word of His Grace" by the brethren.

Entrusting the brethren to Him who is trustworthy.

No way to established, built up are partake of the glorious inheritance of those be sanctified apart from trusting the Lord and laying claim of His trustworthy message.

Paul and Felix

Now as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and answered, "Go away for now; WHEN I have a convenient time I will call for you." Acts 24:25

Felix made the dreadful mistake of putting off that crisis of conviction...
He must have assumed:

1. Conviction would Continue! (It doesn't...)
2. Convenience would Come! (It won't...)
3. Communication would Count! (It' can't! Only thing that counts is faith obedience)
4. Conscience would Clear! (It will!)

Don't be shortsighted or ignorant of who God is and how He works... being ignorant of truth and shortsighted will leave you FRUSTRATED with the temporal, DEFEATED in the supernatural, TWISTED about the future and EMPTY of God's peace, hope, joy, gladness grace, love and faithfulness. There's nothing to fear when the Lord is your Shepherd...

Jude directed the brethren to "keep themselves in the love of God." Now to do this he suggested three specific things they were to do. This is what he said:

"But you, beloved, BUILDING yourselves up on your most holy faith, PRAYING in the Holy Spirit, KEEEEEP yourselves
