The Samaritans Receive the Word of God

This is actually a great segue into the next few weeks of looking at the Incarnation of Jesus Christ. We have the privilege of celebrating the birth of the Saviour because of the diaspora brought about by the persecution of the early church in Jerusalem.

The narrative of Philip going to Samaria is an incredible picture of the Grace of God.

Where the Sanhedren, and those that followed their ways, received the Word of God with gnashing of
the teeth, the Samaritans received the message with "joy!"
