Taking Captive Every Thought

What is the most important thing for you? I think of Jesus' question in Matthew 16:26 "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" This truth is why Paul was concerned to defend himself to the Corinthians. He wanted to make sure they understand the importance of eternal realities. He first deals with the slander lodged against him, and then pushed forth the reality of spiritual warfare that took place in Corinth.
