Honor that Dishonors

Matthew tells of yet another instance of divine power which adds to the mass of evidence he is compiling to demonstrate that Jesus is truly, unmistakably, and irrefutably the messiah, the Son of David, the Son of God. We observe the omnipotent power of the Son of God. Then we are reminded of the decisive authority of the word of God. And finally we are warned of the colossal vanity of the heartless worship of God.
