As far as our notes, I will not send out the sermon that I would have preached this morning in church. But I did want to send something, so I have attached a paper I gave last autumn to the gathering of the New England Reformed Fellowship, of which I am chairman. This paper is a biography of a man greatly used by God in the 1700's in New Jersey, which is on the east coast of the USA, about halfway between the northern and southern borders. The Lord used him to awaken many nominal Christians to true biblical conversion and Christianity. I hope that you will find his story encouraging and instructive in your efforts to proclaim Jesus Christ.
