Historicists' Day-Year Theory Debunked

An honest and careful analysis of Revelation ch. 13 with Daniel's correlated prophecies in Daniel ch's. 2 and 7-12, combined with the 2nd century writings of Irenaeus, the apostle John's "grandson in the faith" (see accompaning PDF), utterly destroys the "Day-Year" theory that historicists base their entire allegoric system of interpretation on, and CONFIRMS that (1) a literal & futurist view of these prophecies was the position of th early church, and was NOT spawned by the Jesuits as historicists claim; (2) the reign of terror of the Antichrist is yet future and will be strictly limited to a 3-1/2 year period; (3) the "abomination of desolation" could NOT have been fulfilled in 70 AD and remains unfulfilled; (4) the "he" of Daniel 9:27 who stops a sacrifice IS most certainly the Antichrist, who (5) will perpetrate that same abomination, as also seen in Daniel 9:27, in a future rebuilt temple.
