The Restored Inheritance

What a wonderful account of our Lord's provision and providence. Elisha tells the Shunammite's woman, whose son he raised from the dead, to flee the land as 7 years of famine is coming. She heeds his voice and after 7 years goes back to ask the King for her land back. In God's wonderful providence, the King has just asked Gehazai to tell him all the things Elisha has done. Even as Gehazi is telling him that Elisha has raised the dead, the woman whose son Elisha raised, comes. The King restores all to her. We look at God's mercy and also are reminded that the day will come when restoration will come to each on of us who are called by His name.
