A.The distinctiveness of John the Baptist
1.Chosen supernaturally by God to be His servant.. and that's the way it should be with preachers today.
2.Saved at the earliest age possible. From his mothers womb
-The Holy Ghost does not indwell an unsaved individual.
3.He was called the messenger of The Lord Jesus Christ.
4.He was cut off by wicked hands for his stand for God. Mark 6:14..

1. He preached REPENTANCE
2. He Warned that good works and false profession are not salvation. Being a member of a church is not salvation.
3. He preached the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
4. He preached the second coming of Christ.
   5.He preached the separation of the wheat from the evil to come.
   He preached REGENERATION.
