The Only Good Soil

There are some people who are just agreeable and impressionable. However, we are not saved because we did something right, we are saved because of what Jesus has done. We are to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. How we listen matters. Jesus was speaking in parables and this fulfilled the prophecy in Isaiah. God is the ruler of His Kingdom and we are not to think that we can manipulate Him. People cannot lose their salvation. Their lack of perseverance shows that they were never saved. People are unfruitful in spiritual matters because of the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth. The point of our salvation is not so that we can go to Heaven only. We are to produce good fruit by preaching the good news, the gospel. The only good soil is soil that yields a crop.
