The Peace of God Ruling in Your Heart

Truth be told, we like to think of ourselves as rulers, and we do of course have the capacity for meaningful choice and self-determination. And yet we are ruled persons. Whatever freedom we may possess, we are still ruled persons no matter how autonomous we may imagine ourselves. Christian people have both the privilege and the obligation of being ruled, umpired through life, by the peace of God. Glory!
