The Glory of the Babe in the Manger

Who is the Babe laid in the manger. The Babe in the manger is the God-Man. The Babe in the manger is God in flesh. He is fully and gloriously divine and fully unfallen man! Of all those conceived…He alone was miraculously conceived of the Holy Spirit. Of all those born…He alone was born without sin coming in the likeness of sinful men. Of all those who died under the curse of sin and death…He alone died for the sins of others, rose again conquering sin and death, and ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father as the one Mediator between God and men! The Babe born lowly in a stable and laid in a manger is the image of the invisible God…He is the second person of the Trinity…one with the Father and the Spirit! He is worthy of your worship! He is worthy of your service, your sweat, your suffering, your life, and your life's blood! He is worthy of all glory and honor and praise from all of creation…and He shall receive it! In life or in death…as Lord and Savior or Lord and Judge…every knee shall bow to the Babe in the manger!!!
