Episode 11 Our main text is from Matthew 2:16-18. A tragic result of two things: Herod the Great was an egomaniac driven to maintain his power at all costs. Viewing Jesus as a rival to his throne, he tried to find out where he lived in Bethlehem in order to murder him. Unable to discover Christ's exact location, he sent troops to the city to murder all males two years old or younger. Secondly we also see Satan working behind the scenes to destroy the coming of the Messiah. This fulfills a famous prophecy out of Jeremiah 31:15. Recorded Dec 18, 2021 & Posted on Dec 21, 2021.
