Doing Church Right — Loving in the Light of His Return (Part 2)

Blessings friends... It's all in how we look at it... the right angle can change how we see the beauty beyond the murky waters of life.

Looking at ordinary things from a different angle won't transform what we're looking at... but it can transform how we see it. Seeing the ordinary in extraordinary ways is a gift of having the right view on life.

And one of my favorite sections of Scripture, that helps me see everything the right way, is found in our 1 Thessalonians 5. I like to refer to 1 Thessalonians 5, and the principles found in these verses, as "Doing Church Right!" I want to encourage you to take some time and meditate on this section of Scripture at some point today, and ask the Lord to cultivate a heart in you that desires Him, His people and doing church right. I pray these truths richly bless you, as they have encouraged me over the years.

Something I try to keep in mind and encourage others to remember: if God has put His truth in you, He's put His love in you. And if He's put His love in you, it's a love His invested in you FOR the brethren... and NOT for some type of church experience (1John ; 2John). Doing church right... will always be rooted in His love and His truth. From one pilgrim to another... may each of you have a rich day full of glory and grace.
