Knowing the Way

The Scriptures are clear – humanity has lost its way because it has turned from His way. Having done our own thing our ways are no longer His ways!The opening of the way back to the Father and the restoration of our lives to His ways is the whole theme of Scripture. The plan of God has always been to make known the only Way back home and to make known the untellable love that opened that way through the suffering of His beloved Son. Now we know the Way we need not doubt His love or His purposes come hell or high water but neither should we drift back to complacency as if we had never found the Way. Insisting on His way rather than our own keeps us in the sweep of God's whole plan and action.
