The Christmas Blessing

Sermon Point: God fulfills His promise to bless you in and through Jesus Christ.

Outline:

1. Paul tells you that Scripture, written by the Spirit through Moses, looks ahead and foresees the future.
2. The Spirit, writing Scripture through Moses, foresees that God will justify the Gentiles, people like you.
3. Seeing this would be the case, the Spirit preaches the gospel, beforehand, to Abraham and to you now.
4. That gospel message was the promise: In you and in your seed, all the familes of the earth will be blessed.
5. Your blessing is tied to God's promise to Abraham and to Christ born in Bethlehem.
6. God fulfills His promise to bless you in and through Jesus Christ.
