The Definition
What Worship Is Not:

  Not something done only by believers or “spiritual people.”

  Not just singing.

  Not something connected to a time and a place. (John 4)

  Not something that starts and stops.

A. W. Tozier— “If you will not worship God seven days a week, you do not worship Him one day week.”

What Worship Is (Romans 11:36-12:1)

Based on these verses, worship is living our life individually and corporately as continuous living sacrifices to the glory of a person or a thing.
