Sanctification Through Suffering

In Romans 5:3-5 Paul lays out the process of sanctification through our tribulations. Tribulations result in perseverance, which leads to proven character, which ultimate results in the confident expectation of future glory. And, as Paul states in v. 5, all this is given to us by the Holy Spirit that God has given to every one of His adopted children.
