Christ: Humble Sacrifice

Paul's explains the perfect example of selfless unity - the incarnation of Jesus Christ. His life on earth serves as the ideal pattern that all believers should model their lives after, following His example of humility and submission in their relationships with each other and with God. He emptied Himself in His personal role as a man, and He humbled Himself in His powerful role as God's sacrifice for all mankind. God has already exalted Him, giving Him the name above all names, and one day all men will exalt Him, physically humbling themselves before Him and agreeing with God the Father that Jesus Christ is the master of all.
