The Angelic Message

In this passage, there were 3 angelic apperances. There are all kinds of spiritual things that are going on right now that we cannot see. That does not mean they are not there. When germs were just discovered they became reality even though they were there before they were discovered and even if we cannot see them with our eyes alone. There are angels that are present that are unseen. When Gabriel proclaimed God's word, Zechariah did not recieve the word with immediate faith and lost the ability to speak for several months. God is the planner of Zechariah and Elizabeth’s son John's life. Prayer does not work if we are trying to make God do our will. If we pray to have God do His will and to have His way, our prayers will be answered. When Gabriel told Mary that she was going to give birth, Mary did not question that it was going to happen, but instead she asked how it was going to happen. We might not understand how things will happen that God promised, however we are to believe it will, that is faith. Jesus is the Good News, just as the angel of the Lord proclaimed in Luke chapter 2 verse 10. If we believe what God says, we will find out that what God says is exactly true.
