Do Not Fear What They Fear

198 ( 129 | 69 )

In light of what God has done for us, we should not be afraid. Suffering should come as a result of doing the right thing and not the wrong thing. If you suffer for doing what is right, that is a good thing. It sometimes becomes harder to do the right thing knowing that if you do the right thing you are going to suffer for it. In the midst of very scary things according to man, God tells Isaiah not to be afraid of anything but Him. The suffering of this life are not to be compared to the glories in Heaven. Hebrew 10:30-39, when persecution came the people where courageous and they joyfully accepted the taking away of their property. They believed the truth that they had better riches in Heaven. No one can take away the best stuff if you are in Christ. If your trust is in the Lord God Almighty, you have nothng to worry about. God has a plan and His plan is for our good. We are part of a drama that we did not script. If you do the right thing it will cost you. There is only one reason not to do something, if what you are about to do would displease the Lord then we should not do it. God has guaranteed that victory over this world has been accomplished. Are you ready to meet God? We should not fear what the world fears, if we do we will attempt to save our lives and loose them, instead of loosing our lives for Christ's sake.
