The story of the whole Bible is the story of our only Savior Jesus:

1. Jesus is our Savior
2. Jesus saves us from our sins
3. there is no salvation to be sought or found anywhere else
   Questions to think about during the sermon:
   Introduction:
   1 In what sense is reading the Old Testament like doing a Treasure Hunt?
   Point 1:
   2 If the preacher says that of course we all believe that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins,
   what thought immediately comes to our minds? What is the issue?
   3 In the gospels, did Jesus often talk about the forgiveness of sins? Why (not)?
   4 Why was Jesus angry at the Pharisees and the Teachers of the Law? What were they doing wrong?
   Point 2:
   5 Should we say that Jesus HAS SAVED US from our sins; IS SAVING US from our sins; or WILL SAVE US
   FROM OUR SINS?
   6 What is the easiest way for Christians to live? But what does God desire the most?
   Point 3:
   Why is it important for us to believe that Jesus is our only Saviour?
