The Captivity Of The Sinner

In this sermon we deal with a subject that is connected to the doctrine of total depravity set forth in the Scriptures. The Scripture teaches that man is both intrinsically & practically evil. And his evil nature makes him a child of God's wrath and renders him unwilling & unable to seek or to please God. But he also has another limitation in his sinful state. Satan. The god of this world is also acting against man, both blinding and controlling him through his own lust and ignorance. We see in this sermon the truth that man is so helpless in his sinful state that if God does not save, then there will be no salvation.
