The Light Of The World

The four Gospels are amazing because through them we get a complete picture of Jesus' life and the impact it brings to our lives. Mathew and Luke take us through the unfolding events from Mary's conception to the birth of Jesus. Through these two gospels, we know that an Angel brought the news first to Mary, then to Joseph, and others concerning Jesus Christ. We also know that what happens is in fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies about the birth of the Savior of the world. Mark, begins with John the Baptist urging people to prepare the way for the Lord.

But is it John, the beloved apostle takes us to eternity past reminding us that before the Word became flesh in Bethlehem, He was with God, and He was God from the beginning, and without Him, nothing was made. This is the Jesus that we proclaim today. The light of the world.
