Lies, Lies, Lies

The ninth commandment is a clarion call to believers to be genuine, sincere, truthful, reliable people, those whose words can be trusted, thus reflecting the God who cannot lie. Lies to be avoided include slander, gossip, false excuses, giving a false impression of ourselves to others and fake smiles. Here too is lies heard in some churches.
