What Protestants Believe About Election and Justification

The Protestant Reformers believed in sovereign grace and monergistic regeneration. They also believed that God justifies the ungodly because of the imputed righteousness of Christ given to believers through faith. Sadly, Roman Catholics are not the only ones who have rejected this teaching. Most modern Protestants have as well.
