  • Hell is found 53 times in the Bible, 31 times in the OT. Four words for “Hell” in the Bible.
    = Sheol is the OT term translated “Hell”. This is the only word translated hell in the OT.
    = Hades is the NT word for Hell and means the same as the OT Sheol.
    = Gahenna
    = A Lake of Fire

    = It is a place of eternal torment. (Rev 14:11)
    = It is Hot! It is a place of fire. It is a devouring fire. It is an unquenchable fire…
    = It is a place of eternal separation
