1063 Considering God's Schedule Pt-11

78

This message gets right into Jesus setting up His Kingdom on Earth and His remodeling it into a glorious global garden.
The Scriptures are filled with hints left by God that are designed to stir curiosity about our Creator. One such is telling us that He has a name that no man knew but He Himself. What possible reason would there be to mention that, other than to stir curiosity in us? John said that the Earth could not contain the books that could have been written about the things that He did but didn't tell us about. He also told us that He came down to see if there were any that sought after Him and found none. The problem for us is, we are living in the last days and just as He spoke of the Laodicean church we believe we have all the answers so the only things we seek from God are His blessings, help protection, healing, provision and relief. There is no real concern to know Him better, understand His feelings, or to delve into His awesome genius. We are just like children that are focused on what we can get from our parents but never stop to consider why they should do anything for us or what it cost them to provide it for us.
I have asked several believers, why should God answer our prayers? The answer is either, because He loves us, or because of all we've done for Him.
We automatically feel God owes us just like children do and we feel confused when we don't get what we pray for. Praying to understand Him better for HIS benefit is where to find the answer to that and many more questions.
