Carefully Keeping the Soul

Keep your Soul Diligently. Keeping the Soul is an important work, a difficult work, a constant work, and a purposeful work. Moses exhorts the people of God to watch over their souls so that they do not forget the things their eyes have seen and so that those things do not depart from their hearts. Such work is a necessary work if we are to make them known to our children. We cannot teach that which we do not know.
