Following the warnings and expectant words of the prophet Malachi, God fell silent around 424 B.C., giving no new revelation to His people...until one day in 4 B.C., a humble priest, Zechariah, entered the temple to offer incense in the holy place. This message offers a historical overview of redemptive history, particularly the inter-testamental period, and shows the continuity between the last words of the Old Testament and the first words of the New. This shows how Christ was the promised Jewish Messiah and simultaneously the Light to the Gentiles who rose with healing in his wings for the nations of the earth.
