The Father Loves You!

Eternal life is about knowing the Father and the Son. Jesus wants us to totally experience the life of God. He wants us to experience Him living His life through us. God's design for us is that we would experience a relationship with Him much like a husband and a wife. Unfortunately, most people do not have that type of relationship with God. This is eternal life. Jesus did not just become the Son of God, He was the Son before the world began. The prayer of Jesus was that the Father would demonstrate the glory He has had with the Father before the world started. Jesus came in order to offer His life as the perfect sacrifice to redeem. Why did the disciples obey Jesus? The scriptures state that before the relationship with Jesus developed, the Father choose them. We, who are in Christ, owe everything, including our being called to salvation, to God. What does it mean to follow God? God who created us sent His Son to save us and our desire is not to wonder off, but if we did, He would go after us. Even though we are flawed, Jesus still wants us to be with Him. Jesus wants us to be one as He and the Father are one. That means those, who belong to God are really His, no matter where His believers are, we are one. It is like going to a different country and meeting believers you have never seen before and instantly knowing they are your brothers and sisters. In verse 12, Jesus stated that Judas was doomed to destruction since the world began, it may not be totally understood, however Jesus said it and so we should make peace with it. It is okay to be honest about how you feel as long as you don't stay there. Eternal life is all about relationship and knowing Him who saved us.
