The Lord Rejects Religious Toleration: Letter To The Church At Pergamos

The letter to the church at Pergamos.

(excerpts)
Pergamos had the temple of the serpent-god Asclepius, whom they called the “Savior.” His symbol, the caduceus, is a snake twined around a rod. You have probably seen one in your doctor's office, because it is still today the symbol of medicine. It's the official insignia for the Medical Department of the United States Army, among other nations. It's also an occult New Age symbol.

...The Pergamons also worshiped Zeus, Apollo, Athene, Aphrodite, Bacchus, and Dionysus, whose worship involved obscenities impossible to even describe. Is it any wonder that Christ called Pergamos "Satan's throne"?

...Note that what displeases Him is “the doctrine of Balaam” and “the doctrine of the Nicolaitans.” The Lord cares very much if we hold the wrong doctrines. He is not P.C. He doesn't believe in religious toleration and He doesn't celebrate religious diversity. It is our duty to study His Word so that we can recognize false doctrines and oppose them.

...The Lord gives a new name to those he specially loves. All the elect are His sons and daughters by adoption and will be welcomed into paradise with a new name, the family name of their loving heavenly Father, for we are indeed God's beloved children.
