Jesus is called Emmanuel, which means "God with us." But what does it mean that God is with us? In Matthew 1:18-25, we see that the Son of God by His birth became one with us in our humanity; yet, by the virgin birth not like us in our sin; so that He might be for us, to save us from our sins.
