The promise of a Messiah, the arrival of Jesus of Nazareth; what is the purpose of this amazing event in human history? One simple word says it best - PROVISION. God was making provision for sin in order to accomplish the redemption of His own. Jesus understood that purpose and submitted Himself entirely to His Father's will. This is Christmas.
