: In Ephesians 4:4-6, Paul exhorts us to express the unity that Holy Spirit has created among believers, resulting from our faith union with Christ and the application of the gospel in our lives. This unity flows from the character of the one true God in the way that we live with one another. Therefore, we are to express unity in the life of the local congregation because of who our God is and because of what he is like.
