From Sequence to Consequence

Over and over the Word of God shows us the sequence of events that will keep us from evil and disaster in our spiritual lives. It also shows us over and over the sequence of events that will lead to evil and disaster in our spiritual lives.

If you are somewhere in a sinful chain of events, repent now. It might be hard, but I can guaran-tee you, it will only get worse. You won't get out of a hole by digging deeper.

God will never think you to be so clever in your evil that He will let it slide.
