Suffering in Hope

Suffering comes with the Christian life - it was Jesus' experience and will be ours, too. The Thessalonians suffered and were part of that fellowship of sufferings. They did not resist, but endured in hope. Paul delivers a stinging indictment of the Jews, who were behind much of the suffering experienced in the early church.
