Social Justice and the Bible

There is a temptation to turn a blind eye when we see injustices right before us. Easier and safer to keep quiet and not get involved. To not respond to wrong. But as followers of Christ, we don't have a choice. It is our calling and duty to intervene. Because of Jesus we can not turn a blind eye. We are God's hands of mercy to the downtrodden and oppressed. Our response to matters of social justice is to be one of action.
