Fighting Complacency (Cultivating Spiritual Passion)

One of the greatest problems of our day is spiritual indifference and complacency. Shortly before his death, Paul wrote to Timothy exhorting him to stir up the gift within him and to step forward and suffer for the gospel. The very way that Paul encouraged Timothy to press forward is the same way we can (by the grace of God) recover spiritual passion and fight off complacency.
